This week 5B became authors! We looked at different authors, what they like to write about and how a book is made. We shared our favourite books and talked about what makes them so special.
We enjoyed Roald Dahl’s ‘George’s Marvellous Medicine’ and designed and created our own medicines to help others. When reading ‘Giraffe’s Can’t Dance’, we discussed the animals and the habitats that they are suited to. We each researched a different habitat using atlases and information texts and created ‘Our Habitat Book’.
