Pathways 4 All

Pathways 4 All is a parent led charity, providing family centred play and leisure opportunities for disabled children, teens and young adults.

As well as their usual term time hours at the Tim Lamb Centre, they also welcome new parents to their coffee mornings, which take place at the centre, 9.30-11.30 Thursday mornings term-time. Refreshments are free.

Family Tree Coffee Morning

Following the success of the Family Tree launch event, the Family Tree group have arranged a follow up coffee morning with a focus on behavioural issues. The event is free for parents and carers of children with additional needs and any staff working with them are also welcome. The event will take place at the Blyth Scout Headquarters at South Beach Estate in Blyth from 9.15 – 12 noon on Wednesday, 24th November. A programme is attached for further information.

Food poverty continues to be a significant challenge for so many in our community and more than ever they need our help.
Thank you so much to everyone who donated – this will make a massive difference for so many people.
If you missed the Harvest, don’t worry! We continue to collect items throughout the year for the Food Banks so you can still send in donations.

National Sleep Helpline

One in four children in the UK are not getting enough sleep, this has an impact on their behaviour and ability to learn, as well as their physical health.

The National Sleep helpline is run by trained sleep advisors who can talk to young people directly, or their parents.

The helpline is open 5 nights a week, Sunday to Thursday, 7-9pm and the number is freephone 03303 530 541.

Disability Sport Sessions running during October Half Term holidays for 10-19 years olds and their siblings:
  • Northumberland – Tuesday 26th October 10am-12nn at Ashington Leisure Centre
  • Northumberland – Tuesday 26th October 1.30-3.30pm at Ashington Leisure Centre – session for families
  • Tyne & Wear – Thursday 28th October 10am-12nn at Blue Flames Sporting Club
  • Durham – Friday 29th October 10am-12nn at The Louisa Centre
